Complaints Procedure

We are committed to high-quality legal advice and client care. We hope that you will not have cause for complaint, but if you do have any questions or complaints about our work or charges, please refer them to the Principal Solicitor, Mrs Sindhu Joseph, who is responsible for dealing with any complaints regarding the service that we provide. If you are unhappy about any aspect of the service you have received or about the bill, please contact her by telephone and/or e-mail or by post to our office. We have eight weeks to consider your complaint. If we have not resolved it within this time you may complain to the Legal Ombudsman.  If you are not satisfied with our handling of your complaint, you can ask the Legal Ombudsman to consider the complaint.

A complaint to the Legal Ombudsman must be made:

  • Within six months of receiving our final response to your complaint and
  • No more than one year from the date of the act or omission being complained about or
  • No more than one year from the date when you should reasonably have known that there was cause for complaint.

If the Legal Ombudsman thinks your case involves a breach of our Principles, they will refer your case to SRA. Likewise, if you report a solicitor to SRA (Complete SRA report form send to SRA with evidence) for poor service, we will refer you to the Legal Ombudsman.
